THE DREAM:
The dream: to own my own business and treat my workers how they should be treated.
PoB: What kind of business?
I want to do something within fashion, like have my own business in like sewing and a fashion line, hopefully, so, I’m just working my way up, little by little.
THE STRUGGLE:
The struggle is moving up within your company. Sometimes, you know, especially in the fashion industry, it’s hard to move up to a higher position, like, you know, executive assistant or even higher than that, like president. So, just in general, it’s hard moving up in the fashion industry. It’s more like, who you know now instead of what do you know or what’s on paper.
WHAT I DO:
I work at a fashion company, assisting executives and receptionist duties.
WHY I DO:
I went to school for fashion, marketing, and business, so it’s kind of like in my field, and that’s how I ended up at my job now, so…
