THE DREAM:
My dream is to live comfortably and just never struggle, not have to worry about money or not being able to make it.
THE STRUGGLE:
The struggle is trying to [make] ends meet. Trying to be stable for my family, helping out my mother, and just being a member of … six siblings. So it’s just difficult, just trying to help everybody out.
WHAT I DO:
I attend [college]. I’m getting an associates degree, associates degree in liberal arts. I also work at [a distribution warehouse].
WHY I DO:
I’m going to school to get a better job. I work to pay bills. It’s to take care of my family and my partner. That’s about it.
OPEN MIC:
Just be yourself, strive for the best, and don’t worry about what everybody says.
