THE DREAM:
Well, I dream that people open their eyes and realize we’re all one in the same. And, you know, I hope the world and our generation will be better. As the future, as time passes on, I hope history doesn’t replay itself.
THE STRUGGLE:
The struggle is to keep yourself positive in a world like this. It’s always competition, you know as an African -- not African American, but you know, as a black minority, period, you know. We have to do extra I feel. Extra and beyond just to be more noticeable just to be getting the same type of respect and opportunities as other people who aren’t as minorities like us, I believe.
WHAT I DO:
Right now I work at [a distribution warehouse] and at [a department store].
WHY I DO:
I do that because that’s the only way right now to have money in my pocket and take care of myself.
OPEN MIC:
Well… Love one another. Black lives matter. All lives matter.
