THE DREAM:

My dream is basically to see hopefully a change, especially in our young people or whatever, you know? There’re some people I know who are trying to reach out to them or whatever, but they need help. Like, my mom, she use to – which I’m going to start doing back or whatever – she use to do “back to school” where she use to take her money and buy books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and have a barbecue or whatever and give back to the community and whatever and things like that.

For myself or whatever, my dream is just basically, you know, to be healthy and be a good mom to my child.

THE STRUGGLE:

For my life the struggle is… right now, I’m pregnant, and I just recently lost my mom and my grandmother or whatever, but you know I’m getting through that or whatever. But that’s really not too much of a struggle-struggle, but it’s a personal struggle, you know?

With the world and stuff, and things, it’s mostly like the economy. And I see like the youths nowadays, they’re not like how I grew up. You know, we use to double-dutch and hopscotch and all that stuff like that. Now they sitting here, they drinking, not going to school, and thinking that life is cool.

WHAT I DO:

Mostly, I do makeup.

WHY I DO:

Well, I like that one because I like bright colors and you can do all sorts of things to a person face. You can make them look younger; you can make them look older, you know.
