THE DREAM:

The dream is to be able to continue doing what I love and be free of, you know, any worries. Being able to just… Yeah, just being able to be free in doing what I love and making people around the world happy, I guess.

THE STRUGGLE:

The struggle in my particular world… I am a freelance hairstylist, as I said, so it’s just, you know, doing what you love and… When you first start out in more of this world of fashion and, you know, doing hair for things like that, the pay is always very scattered.

Friend: You don’t get what you deserve.

You don’t get what you deserve until you’re like far in, into your career, which, you know, isn’t the biggest issue because I think it’s -- A -- doing what you love first and let the, you know, payment follow, but that’s I guess the struggle in my world.

WHAT I DO:

I’m a hairstylist, a freelance hairstylist.

WHY I DO:

I like doing that because I’ve done a lot of other things and hair has always been my main love. I’ve been doing hair since I was eleven, so… Yeah. It’s like my passion. It doesn’t feel like work.

OPEN MIC:

You know it’s funny… I always have so many things to say…
